Partner Spotlight: Coast Capital supports Red Seal Trades training at 69ÌÃ

69ÌÃ (VCC) celebrates ’s renewed commitment for the advancement of Red Seal Trades training.
With their generous contribution and commitment of $90,000, VCC is poised to elevate opportunities and excellence within the skilled trades sector. This funding will help reduce financial barriers to students through scholarships and bursaries, allowing them to again valuable skills training for the workforce.

"We know that the Red Seal certification is crucial for maximizing long-term earning potential, helping apprentices build better futures, unlock financial opportunity, and grow their incomes. Our financial support will align with VCC’s vision of being the first choice for innovative and experiential learning for life.”

A Red Seal is proof of excellence in certain skilled trades that is recognized by employers across Canada. Not only does it recognize a high level of skill, but certification can lead to more job opportunities, greater career mobility, and higher pay. Red Seal recipients often report a greater sense of pride by achieving the highest qualification in their profession. 69ÌÃ offers Red Seal training in Culinary and Pastry Arts, Automotive Servicing, Collision and Refinishing, and Hairstyling.
